Ski four interlinking valleys...

The Hochkönig ski circuit offers 33 lifts and 150 kilometres of non-stop connecting trails between Maria Alm, Hintermoos, Hinterthal, Dienten and Mühlbach. The ski area has 150 kilometres of slopes stretching from Maria Alm to Mühlbach in the east. Captivating powder snow, plus tree-lined pistes provide all the variety you could hope for.

The skiing is divided and best explained as follows:
Village slopes – The nearest lift is around 300m from the chalet and serves the Natrun beginners slopes. From the village centre there is a high speed gondola to the summit, the starting point of some intermediate runs through the pine forest or back down directly to the village. This area is recommended for beginners and for those first days on the slopes.

Aberg Mountain – An efficient ski bus service provides the link to the Aberg gondola station up to the mid-station from this point there are a good range of beginners runs down. You can take a four man chair from the mid-station up to the summit at 1900m

Königstour – The Königstour offers 32km of connecting-piste from the Aberg through to Mühlbach - ideal for skiers or boarders wishing to explore further. You can link to the circuit from the Aberg summit by taking the Blue 10 leading to Kröllalm from here follow Red down to Hintermoos and connect with the new Smalco gondola to the summit at Hinterthal. The linked circuit continues from here down to Dienten on a Red 21 a long run which is excellent for skiers who wish to test their carving skills. The brand new high speed 6 man chair opened this season (replacing the never ending T-bar) and takes you from Dienten up to the summit at Burglalm continue on Blue 14b towards Hochkonigalm. Head up to the Sunnhutte summit and enjoy the variable blue options down. Take the chair lift to the highest point Schneeberg at 1921m from here there’s the choice or cruising down Blue Route 1, Red Route 3 or for skiers who want more of a challenge try the exhilarating Black Route 1 into Mühlbach.

3 Funparks - as well as having plenty of kilometres across the mountain to explore. Boarders and freeskiers have the chance to test their skills on 3 terrain parks featuring rainbow boxes, moguls hills, easy kickers, straight boxes and more.
